Holiday Inn Nyc - Lower East Side by IHG

I love coming to this Hotel! It's very friendly. The staff are very kind. The rooms are very comfortable. The neighborhood is super nice too. I will be coming here more!

This was a great find. Good location, hotel was decent. Cassandra at the front desk was awesome. My only issue is that my card was double charged for authorization and I still havent received a refund. I have received other refunds from other hotels I stayed at after this one, so I wish that process didnt take so long and others should get the heads up.

**update** the hotel responded to my review. I appreciate the personalized responce. Im upgrading my review of their Service from 4 star to 5. *** Small rooms but comfortable. Nice large shower, but low water pressure. Community bath products, I think each the shampoo and conditioner were each filled with the other...annoying. foamy cinditioner?? Seemed to be under some construction, changing out mattresses, which is fine but it took away one of the 2 elevators. The buttons in the left elevator did not light up properly, but got u to the floor you pressed, but without lighting up. Had an issue checking in but Andres went above and beyond and helped me get into the room. Lifesaver, the other desk employee was not interested in helping. Rules are rules she said. Wake up lady! Free popcorn is a fun touch. Some guests received a "goodie bag" at check in...I didn't, but the person ahead of me did. Wonder why... Would I stay again? 50/50 chance... Holiday Inn...help me decide with your responce.

The hotel offers a convenient location with numerous dining and bar options nearby, however, the room size is notably compact. The hotel's overall cleanliness is commendable, and the staff is pleasant.

I stayed at Holiday Inn NYC - Lower East Side because the rate was less than half of the hotel prices near Times Square. The room is small, but clean and adequate for a business trip. The room is also quiet, which is a big plus in NYC. There is a nearby subway station with multiple lines. It is very convenient as long as you don’t mind traveling by subway. The staff is excellent — nice, helpful, and experienced. There are some good restaurants nearby. Ivan Ramen is wonderful. Also walking distance to Chinatown. Overall: great value if you can get a good rate.

My family and I stayed here while my kids toured NYU and Columbia. I have nothing but good things to say about our stay. First, every employee was very friendly and helpful. Second, the room was incredibly clean. Third, it was a great location – close to the subway and lots of food options (as well as a Target and Trader Joe’s!). Fourth, they kept our luggage for no charge before our flight. I also appreciated it that they had filtered water for guests’ use in the lobby. The only two things that would make it better would be a guest laundry (the three laundromats I went to within walking distance only take cash) and a complimentary breakfast. Other than that, it was a fantastic stay!

Great services !! Big thanks to Andres for making sure we had a late check out due to an IHG membership and running a race in the morning. Hotel is clean, MTA station around the corner and felt safe!

DIAMOND at the front desk truly made our entire sister trip to NYC unforgettable! We came to celebrate my birthday, went to a concert and had some amazing dinners — but every night, coming back to the hotel and being greeted by Diamond’s warmth and energy was the real highlight. So friendly, so accommodating, an absolute ray of sunshine! It just goes to show, you can stay at any Holiday Inn Express, but it’s the people who make the difference. Thank you Diamond, for making our trip so special!
